We finally decided that Sedgwick had reached a point where he couldn’t look any worse if we gave him a haircut ourselves. With a pair of clippers and a bag of treats Mike and I decided to embark on our first adventure in dog grooming. Aside from lopsided looking ears and not much left of a tail I don’t think he looks too bad. It was in the end less stressful than the chaos that ensued the last time we used a local groomer. I will admit though that a small part of me might have been a smidge disappointed that the circus show I had imagined of us chasing a half shaved dog around the apartment did not happen.
It should grow out before too long and since we only have about 9 months to go we should only have to torture him this way a few more times.
